We are thrilled to announce that The Island Collection has been successful in being awarded an investment and a grant. Both will basically mean that we will be recruiting some staff to help the volunteer trustees to deliver our mission. First, Artswork have invested in a programme to support the advancement of young people creatively to manage their mental health and gain achievement via ArtsMark awards. The second, which is so hot off the press it’s smoking, is an Arts Council grant to enable us to develop an island wide cultural strategy and stage some significant conference style events alongside our recent successful networking events.

Both posts will be part time and remote based for island based arts, culture and heritage people.

The Programme Facilitator role will work closely as part of the Cultural Education Partnership with schools. This is expected to be 2-3 days a week for a 12 month contract, which could be freelance or employed.

The Executive Director role will be challenging and dynamic for an experienced arts professional fundraiser, who will help to implement the strategy that is in the making.

To request the job descriptions for either role, please email us Hello@islandcollection.org.uk

closing date for both 5pm 28th February.
